The AP ( Advanced Placement ) Program is a program in the United States created by the College Board which offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. It encompasses 37 courses under 22 academic subjects. The AP exanimation generally consists of two sections: multiple-choice questions and free-response ones. Whereas the number of examinations a student can sit is not limited, it doesn’t necessarily follow that the more, the better. For students aiming for a STEM major, 4 to 6 examinations in Math and Sciences would suffice (e.g. AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology, etc). And students with an intended major in Business could take 4 to 6 examinations in business-related subjects (e.g. AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Microeconomics, etc.) to prove their academic achievements.
